My interest in dogs started early in life since my grandparents have always had dogs.
Though there was no dog in my own family until early 1999.
My first dog was a mixed breed that I found in a newspaper ad. We had so much fun together and it was thanks to him that I came across the first non-registered White Swiss Shepherd in Sweden and my interest for the breed was born.
After getting some facts I bought my first "whitie" from the first breeder that I ran in to that had a litter, the total wrong way to buy a dog.
I realized that I would get no-where with my dog as long as it was not registered. Much because it was a new breed there was a chance to register Baileys to white swiss shepherd, and it was trough a show with two specific judges.
So Bailey was registered as a White Swiss Shepherd at the age of 7 months.
Things did not go well and Bailey became so sick at early age so I had to take the hard decision to let him go to sleep.
Now I was without a white again but my interest in the breed was strong.
I did much research in different pedigree lines and finally made the choice of importing to get the best quality.
A major problem was quarantine and hard regulations of which country that I could import from.
After a long wait and many contacts with the Danish breed club I finally found the breeder that had the dogs I wanted a pup from.
Regulations for import did change and after a dispensation with the agriculture authority I could now import a pup under the age of 12 weeks from any other EU country. Now it was just and only to wait, bitch to get in heat, a successful mating and 62 days later a litter of 7 pups were born, 2 bitches and one was my Ciwi.
My plan for Ciwi changed since her mentality didn't become as I aspected so I rehome her in the age of 2½ years old.
Instead of Ciwi I have a new bitch, called Krut, after swedish old lines. And it is with great pleasure I looking forward to see her grow.
The family have been bigger, you can read more about each dog under the meny, dogs
My Goal is to breed mentally strong, social, healthy White Swiss Shepherds that work good in both active work as in the show ring, I do think that a White Swiss Shepherd is so much more than just a show dog.
Parent animals should be chosen with great care and be both hipscored and elbow scored with excellent result.
They should also have passed thru some kind of mental test and be able to show willingness to work.
Mentality is a major quality and my priority.
Puppies
I sell pups with the Swedish kennel club purchase agreement. All pups have had a health test done by a veterinarian, id -chip and registered with the Swedish Kennel Club. I also provide with hidden faults insurance.
When the pup is leaving for it's new home it is followed by a written instruction of pups care and what to feed.
I also provide with a video/dvd and photos where the litters first weeks are documented. I am open to discussion and to meet purchasers wishes when it comes to documentation and a good start for their new pup.
The request/demands I have on the purchasers are high. I want the pup to be insured for veterinary cost/life insurance. The dog should be hip-scored at age 12-18 months, the dog should make some kind of mental test and also get a education. That the dog gets all care and attention that it needs.
Would like to see the dog perform in some kind of competition. A dog that has been awarded a working championship will be rewarded with either a new pup or half of the purchase price in return.
I guarantee a serious and well planned breeding program that I take full responsibility for. If any problems would occur or just to deliver progress report then I am always there, I will be there to 100%.
Progress reports and photos are something I do look forward to. I will co-ordinate tests for all pups and also arrange meetings for pups and grown up dogs since I want active contact in the future to be able to develop my breeding program.
